Meet Ryan, Founder of Urban Ice Tribe, cold water facilitator and nose breathing triathlon world record holder.
In 2020, Ryan plunged into his frozen barrel for the first time as a way to improve his mental health. The cold water instantly grounded and changed him forever. ‘I felt present in a way I’d never felt before’.
He found his thing!
A natural problem solver, he set about trying every possible bath out there so he could create one of his own. When he did, he soon realised he wanted to find a tribe to share it with.
He built it and the Urban Ice Tribe started to arrive. We are now thousands strong through our amazing in-person and online community that started with just one man discovering a new lease of life from inside a frozen barrel.
